A1 Big Fish Charters

No One Does Trophy Class Trout and Salmon Charters on Lake Michigan Like A1 Big Fish Charters

And this page is all about us…

Captain Mike “Big Fish” Hanke, a Navy veteran and U.S. Coastguard licensed –  full time – 7 days a week – Captain.  He has been fishing almost his entire life.   After serving his Country on a submarine in the Navy for 4 years he returned to Racine where he resumed enjoying nature, and fishing.  In his younger days it was mostly the smaller, inland lakes that he fished for walleye.  But about 15 years ago he began fishing Lake Erie and Lake Michigan.  He enjoyed the “big” lakes so much that over the past several years he has fished Lake Michigan almost exclusively.  It was around this time that that several of his friends dubbed him “Big Fish” because he was always fishing, and catching, big fish.

With Captain Mike safety is always the number one priority, however, having a good time with lots of laughs and lots of fishing action ranks right up there along side of safety.  Make has always enjoyed fishing and he especially likes taking other people fishing and helping them catch the biggest fish they have ever caught!

Come fish with Mike.  Enjoy beautiful Lake Michigan, and catch your “fish of a lifetime!”
